Old favourites and new ones too...

There is nothing I love more than spending a few good days simply walking around a big city, just to see what I can find. As I travel so much for work, I often do this alone and in much less than a few days. I guess that's a good thing, because although I do enjoy some alone time, I much prefer sharing my travels with my husband Kevin or any one of my fun seeking friends. That's why my days walking around San Francisco this time around was extra special. Mav and I just click. We enjoy so many of the same things that sometimes it's that little bit scary. We thankfully had a few days to take it all in before Mav had to fly back home to Sydney, so we did get to do what we had set out to do: visit bakeries, drink coffee, and enjoy the many little local establishments this wonderful city had to showcase. Doing so much of it by foot only enhanced myΒ experience of what this great city has to offer...beautiful architecture, fresh accessible produce, artisan bakeries around every corner, and of course all close by to one of my most loved districts in San Francisco, The Mission. I was so excited to revisit familiar places and to share with Mav all of the beautiful things I had seen before. Staying with Zeina and Dave was one of the highlights of our time in San Fran. Besides hosting us in their wonderful inner city apartment, Zeina and Dave took us out to great eateries, introduced us to some of the best ice cream we've ever tried, and of course pointed us in the right direction if we ever needed anything at all. Just the kind of company you want to enjoy when in this fair city.

Sure I've been to San Francisco a few times before. I have favourite places I go back to, places I won't leave town without visiting... but theres always something new to spark my interest. Here are a few snap shots of old favourites and new ones too!
